Take an EMB 120, slap some jets in place of the turboprops and stretch it. Yeah, no. Something about that hot exhaust right over the fuel tanks and control surfaces doesn’t seem like the best of ideas.

No, only two were built. Eventually the Air Force decided that keeping the C-130 was better than getting either the YC-14 or YC-15 so the program was cancelled (though the YC-15 ended up serving as the basis for the C-17).
